Lily Pad Music Meditation Worksheet - Write Response - in a digital download PDF.

 

We suggest completing this worksheet as a comprehension follow-up activity to Reptile Relaxation.

 

This activity is an introduction to Music Meditation by listening to different calming songs and imagining you are floating peacefully stretched out on a floating lily pad. We recommend stretching out on the floor, but accommodating what is most comfortable for each individual child is what is most important. 

 

Pick a calming song of your own or simply use the song on the Mindiful App Home Screen. This activity can be used again and again to experience different calming songs! (We suggest trying classical music, too!)

 

This activity promotes mindfulness techniques, improved emotional regulation, sensory awareness, regulating stress (self-regulation), encouraging resilience, easing anxiety, promoting well-being, optimism/positive focus, simulating brain cognition, reflection, and relaxation.
